Our Respect for Intellectual Property
Decoriosity respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our visitors and content contributors to do the same. We comply with the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and similar copyright laws in other jurisdictions.
If you believe that any content on Decoriosity infringes your copyright, we want to know about it — and we will respond promptly. This page explains exactly how to notify us and what happens next.
Reporting a Copyright Infringement
If you are a copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of one, and you believe that material on Decoriosity infringes a copyright you own or control, you may file a written DMCA takedown notice.
What Your Notice Must Include
Under Section 512(c)(3) of the DMCA (17 U.S.C. § 512), your notice must contain all of the following information. Notices missing any of these elements may not be valid.
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed. If multiple works are involved, you may provide a representative list.
- Identification of the material that you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it — typically the full URL of the specific page or image on Decoriosity.
- Your contact information: your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
Where to Send Your Notice
Send your DMCA notice via email to:
hello [at] decoriosity.com
Use the subject line: “DMCA Takedown Notice”
We strive to acknowledge valid DMCA notices within 5 business days and to act on them within 10 business days of receipt.
What Happens After We Receive a Valid Notice
Once we receive a properly formatted DMCA notice, our policy is:
- To promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.
- To notify the person who posted or uploaded the material (where possible) that it has been removed or access has been disabled.
- To track repeat infringers and, in appropriate circumstances, terminate their access to Decoriosity entirely.
Filing a Counter-Notice
If you believe that your content was removed in error — for example, because the takedown notice was inaccurate, the material is properly licensed to you, or your use qualifies as fair use under copyright law — you may submit a written counter-notice.
What Your Counter-Notice Must Include
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the URL where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in the judicial district where your address is located (or, if your address is outside the United States, the federal court for any judicial district in which Decoriosity may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice or their agent.
Where to Send Your Counter-Notice
Send your counter-notice to the same email address as DMCA notices:
hello [at] decoriosity.com
Use the subject line: “DMCA Counter-Notice”
After a Counter-Notice
Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, we will forward a copy to the party that filed the original takedown notice. If that party does not notify us within 10 to 14 business days that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the alleged infringement, we may restore the removed material at our discretion.
Repeat Infringers
Decoriosity maintains a policy, in accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, of terminating the accounts or access privileges of visitors, commenters, or contributors who are determined to be repeat infringers.
False Claims
Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly makes material misrepresentations in a takedown notice or counter-notice may be held liable for damages, including costs and attorney’s fees. Do not file a notice unless you are certain.

For the purposes of receiving notifications of claimed infringement, our Designated Agent is reachable at:
